Please note: Availability depends on staff schedules. We kindly ask for a minimum of three weeks’ notice when requesting a program.


Step back in time and discover how Sheridan grew from a frontier town into the historic downtown we see today. This lively one-hour walking tour explores early streets, railroad history, the coal boom, and beautiful architecture — complete with a fun scavenger hunt for students.

In partnership with the Wyoming State Museum, we now offer engaging 4th-grade educational trunks on Mountain Men, the Oregon Trail, and Native Americans of the Great Plains. These hands-on resources are available locally for your classroom use, along with virtual learning options.
